Color Replacement Tool
The Color Replacement tool is a powerful option in Photoshop that allows you to replace or change specific colors in a brush stroke fashion. This can be really helpful for both artistic and practical purposes.
1. Press and hold the Brush tool on your tool bar and drag your mouse down until you see the Color Replacement tool. Before you start, you have to choose the color you want to replace, though. You can do this in the Colors window on the right side of the screen.
2. Change each value or use your mouse along the color bar just below. For exact results, hold down the letter I, then click the color on the screen that you want to use.
3. Once you have your color, click and drag to make the color change. You can change all sorts of things, from the size and softness of the brush you’re using to options such as Tolerance, Light Modes and Sampling Limits. Try out all of these different modes to see what they can do.
Basically, you can use this tool to replace colors for specific things. It can really come in handy for adding creative flare to a photo or for removing unwanted color from pieces of your image.
